The Girls Self-Esteem Program is a self funded program.  This means that our program is not a program funded by grants or governmental handouts.  We count on Sacramento's love of the Arts, and support for girls in our community, to fund G-SEP each year. 

 

Nothing in life is free, and we want to teach our girls this early on.  This is why every girl (to include those on scholarship) are required to give back to the program by bringing 5 to 10 guests who purchase tickets to attend our July graduation. 

 

The Little Miss Capital City Pageant is our signature fundraiser for the Girls Self-Esteem Program Academy.  By having a natural self-esteem super bowl where the girls wear a dress and have the opportunity to compete for awards and prizes totaling over $12,000, we are able to keep our academy for girl’s tuition affordable for every parent, especially in today’s economy. 

 

Everyone wins a prize at the Little Miss Capital City Pageant, and this is where our supporters save the program every year, by sponsoring contestants and our professional guest artists from New York.

PRINCESS PACKAGE:

G-SEP offers scholarships to some girls between the ages of 4 and 12 to attend the academy.  The cost is $40.00 and includes all classroom materials/supplies and graduations fees.  Those on scholarship who would like to participate in the Little Miss Capital City Pageant may do so for the cost of $50.00.

Sponsor a dancer:
Each year up to six professional ballet dancers donate a performance and all proceeds to the Girls Self-Esteem Program.  We must provide, airfare from New York City, and hotel for our generous and talented guests.  Thanks to generous sponsors we have been able to get our dancers here much to the delight of local fans of the Arts.  Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and accepted and this year we offer Dancer Packages to supporters and businesses. Sponsors will be recognized at the pageant and receive VIP tickets to the show as well as an opportunity to meet the dancers and take pictures with them.

Prima Ballerina Sponsorship Package:

Provides hotel stay for one dancer for the duration of the G-SEP and LMCC Program.


Pointe Shoe Sponsorship Package

Provides a round trip airfare for a dancer


Plie Sponsorship Package
$300.00
Have a professional ballet dancer visit your place of business to sign autographs and deliver a speech plus tickets for your business up to 20 tickets.


Dance Studio Package:
$200.00
Have a professional Dance Theatre of Harlem and Urban Ballet Theatre ballerina teach a 1hr class at your studio, take pictures with your future Prima Ballerinas, sign autographs and receive 20 tickets to the Production Pageant.  Additional tickets for the studio will be $5.00 per ticket.


Girls who attend the Girls Self-Esteem Program Academy are required to wear dresses and dress shoes.  Donations of new or slightly worn dresses and dress shoes are greatly accepted and appreciated.
A donation of $20.00 will provide one dress and one pair of dress shoes for a G-SEP Scholarship student.
